Shellsilver allows you to execute UNIX shell scripts from the Finder. When a file with the extension .sh is double-clicked, Shellsilver will launch, and moments later, a Terminal window will pop open executing the shell script.

Shellsilver is a Cocoa application written in Objective-C.

Version 1.4: If you ask Shellsilver to open a shell script for which you don't have execute permissions, it will ask you if you want to fix those permissions. Also, lots of refinements to the code, including dialog boxes and "check for update" feature. (The dialog boxes now use the NSAlert class that doesn't work with versions of Mac OS X prior to 10.3).
